3CF Team Updates
We at 3CF are very fortunate to be supported by an incredible multidisciplinary team who ensure that care is delivered compassionately and competently to those people with CF who we care for and their families. Over the last few years our team has experienced a few changes, and we would like to take a moment to pause and acknowledge those who have left our team, and those who have newly joined.

Firstly, we would like to recognise the service of, and say a sincere thank you to Cathy Short (CF Nurse Specialist), Claire Meade (Senior CF Physiotherapist), and Shaunagh Browne (Research Nurse). We are grateful for all they have done for the service and those we care for over the past several years and wish them every success in their new chapters. Secondly, we would like to welcome and introduce all the new members to 3CF. A warm welcome to James Dorgan (CF Nurse Specialist), Sarah Twohig (CF Pharmacist), Janice Mansfield (CF Pharmacist, maternity cover), Fiona Cusack and Sofia Sison (Research Nurse). Welcome to the team all, we are delighted that you have joined our team and look forward to working with you.

Thirdly, we would like to take a moment to welcome some familiar faces in new positions. Congratulations to Edel Madden (new Senior Physiotherapist), Dr Hisham Ibrahim (new CF/Respiratory Consultant), Dr Kevin Deasy (new CF/Respiratory Consultant), and Prof Barry Plant (who is now also the Medical Director of CUH). A huge congratulations to you all, we look forward to working with you all in your new positions.

Lastly, in keeping with the CF model of care for Ireland 2019, we are actively engaging with CUH to include a fulltime Psychologist as part of our team. We look forward to welcoming and sharing the news of this new team member soon.

Thank you again to all those who have worked with us, and welcome to all new members!
