Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is a remote video consultation? It is just like a face to face consultation that will take place via video conferencing. This will enable the Clinician and patient to see each other as well as speak to each other over the video
  2. How will I receive my consultation details? You will be sent a text or email by your CF team with a date and time for your clinic. You can join the call by clicking on the link provided
  3. Do I need a laptop/computer, or can I use my phone to access the video consultation? The video conferencing will work with the majority of smart phones. If you intend to use a computer/laptop this will need a webcam (usually built into a laptop). If you do not have access to a smartphone or computer/ laptop with a webcam and cannot get access to one then you will not be able to attend your appointment via video consultation.
